Nancy has been through so much, but her battle isn’t over yet.

Her wound is massive, deep, and in one of the most difficult areas for healing. Every day, we clean the tissue, fighting against infection that threatens to undo everything we’ve done so far. The infection is still there, and until it’s completely under control, we can’t proceed with surgery—otherwise, the new tissue flap won’t survive.
